Jorge Acevedo
loves Jesus Christ and his Church. He is the Lead Pastor at Grace Church, a multi-site, United Methodist congregation in Southwest Florida with five campuses (Cape Coral, Fort Myers Shores, Fort Myers Central, Fort Myers Trinity, and Sarasota in Southwest Florida). Grace Church is recognized for its innovation and experimentation around recovery ministries, fresh expressions and other missional ministries. Jorge is a graduate of Asbury College and Asbury Theological Seminary and has authored or co-authored five books.

Tod Bolsinger
serves as vice president and chief of leadership formation at Fuller Seminary. Her has authored three books, It Takes a Church to Raise a Christian: How the Community of God Transforms Lives, Show Time: Living Down Hypocrisy by Living Out the Faith , and Canoeing the Mountains: Christian Leadership in Uncharted Territory.

J.R. Briggs
is a Mission Strategist and Trainer with Fresh Expressions US. He is founder of Kairos Partnerships, a ministry seeking to love the Church by caring for Her leaders through coaching, consulting, speaking, equipping and writing. He is an adjunct professor at Missio Seminary, and guest instructor at Friends University. He serves as the Director of Leadership & Congregational Formation for The Ecclesia Network. J.R. is an author, co-author and contributor of nine books, including The Sacred Overlap.

Verlon Fosner
has been in church leadership for 35 years, and for the past 18 years has served a 93 year-old church in Seattle, Washington. In 2004, their long effective church began to decline, and they were faced with the decision: move to the suburbs or become an urban church. What began as an urban Dinner Church spread into a multi-site Dinner Church, and then expanded into a national Dinner Church Network.

Heather Jallad
serves as Lead Pastor at Sugarloaf UMC in Duluth, Georgia and as Lead Cultivator of The Greenhouse (a network of pioneers) for the North Georgia Annual Conference. She pioneered the Common Ground Network, a network of fresh expressions, at Mount Pisgah UMC in Johns Creek and The Douglasville Dinner Church in Douglasville, GA.

Shannon Kiser
serves as Director of Training, leading our team of mission strategists and trainers in the development and implementation of the Mission Shaped Ministry course through Pioneer Learning Communities. She is also a pastor on staff with Riverside Church in Sterling, VA, a Church that worships in two languages and engages in several fresh expressions of church.

Matt Lake
serves as the Lead Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Williamsport, PA—an urban congregation that consists of a mix of traditional and contemporary worship experiences. First Church also currently hosts a network of fresh expressions of ministry called the Acts Network in which people meet in places such as homes, gyms, and coffee shops. Matt completed his Doctorate of Ministry focusing on Semiotics and Future Studies through Portland Seminary.

Mitch Marcello
is passionate about people embracing creativity and play individually and in their workspaces. He works as Worship Director at First United Methodist Church in Williamsport, PA, and has helped start eleven faith communities and is in the process of launching fresh expressions of worship throughout Williamsport.

Cheryl McCarthy
serves as the Director of The Ananias Project and Coordinator of Prayer Mobilization for Fresh Expressions. She brings with her over 30 years of Intercessory Prayer experience as she undergirds the work of pastors and pioneers around North America. Cheryl and Bill lead Ananias Retreats and Encounter Prayer Rooms for Fresh Expressions and Missio Alliance National Gatherings. Cheryl and Bill reside in New Bern, NC with their five rock star children.

is Director of Expresiones Divinas, the branch of Fresh Expressions dedicated to reaching the hispanic community in America. Eliseo a pastor, missiologist, and a church-planting leader. He has been planting churches the last 29 years in different cultures, contexts, and countries. His passion to reach the lost moves his heart to equip young and seasoned leaders in the USA and internationally.

Chris Morton
works across the organization to help get new projects off the ground and into the world. He also helps to manage our email, social media and other digital communications. He helped plant Austin Mustard Seed, where he served for five years as Community Developer. He also works with several other non-profits and businesses to tell their story with content and social media.

Jeanette Staats
has been in full-time ministry (primarily ministering to college students) for over 20 years and has served as a co-pastor for the last 3 years. She holds a B.A. in English with an emphasis in Professional Writing from Virginia Tech as well as a Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies from The John Leland Center for Theological Studies. Jeanette is passionate about helping churches engage & connect with their community through developing an online social media presence.
